By using  our website or placing an order you agree to and are bound by our terms and conditions. If you do not agree to our terms and conditions you may not use any of our services.

Opening hours

Honeyfields bee farm telephone line is open between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday-Saturday, closed on bank holidays. We also close over the Christmas period from 23rd December to 3rd January.

Placing your Order

You are able to order any item/items that are listed on the web site by viewing and selecting the item/items to be added to the basket, then proceeding to the check out and following the instructions given.  You will have a chance to review your order and make any adjustments needed.  The personal information you enter must be accurate and true and you agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.

You can pay for your order with credit/debit card or by using PayPal.

Orders will not be processed until payment is received.

Once we have received your order you will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail. As we process and ship your order you may receive further e-mails explaining your order status.

At all times until dispatch you have the right to cancel all or part of your order. If you cancel only part of your order, please note that this may result in a change in shipping fees.


Your goods will be dispatched in good time so long as the items are in stock and should be with you 3-4days from dispatch.

The order will be sent to the desired address you provide us with. Please check your delivery address and post code are correct, we do not take responsibility for any incorrect details provided. Please leave a contact number. If any products are damaged in transit you must notify us immediately.  We will be unable to replace any items if you fail to do this.

Order Errors

Should there be an error with your order we require that you notify us in writing within 7 days of receipt. We will arrange collection of the incorrect order. Whilst in your care, the parcel is deemed your responsibility. If you lose, use or give away that parcel, no replacement will be provided. Once our courier has collected the parcel, we will dispatch the corrected order on a next working day service.


In the unlikely situation that you wish to return your goods, please first contact us and explain the situation.

If the unwanted items are returned in their original condition, we will refund you any money which you have paid us for those items, or offer you an alternative product of similar value as a replacement if required. All you pay for is the return postage of the unwanted goods and our original postage costs to you. We do not however, accept the return of opened and/or part used goods.

We do ask that you please contact us first to let us know that the product is being returned. We recommend that all returns are sent by recorded delivery for your safety. We will not take responsibility for returned items if they are lost in the post.

Booking Fee

Booking fees give you the right to reserve on or more nuclei under your name until the date agreed to pay the remainder of the balance and collect the product.  If you reserve a product but then cancel or do not provide payment by the desired time the product will be put back on sale immediately and the booking fee will be non-refundable. Booking fees are refundable if the product cannot be supplied.


All Nucleus colonies are collection only. A member of the team will contact you when your nucleus is ready and arrange a suitable collection day. Once the nucleus has left our property it is your responsibility and must be looked after correctly. The nucleus must be kept out of direct sun light in a cool place before transferring into its new home. Failure to do this will cause the nucleus to overheat and possibly die.

Queen Bees: 

All of our queens bees are imported using the governments IPAFFS system, accompanied by a UK health certificate that is checked off on arrival by our NBU inspector. All of our queen bees are naturally mated. Although the majority of the queens we sell are very good temperament, unfortunately we can not guarantee this. We cannot guarantee acceptance of your queen/queens into your colony and do not take responsibility for failed acceptance.  We will not replace queens that are not accepted. We will replace drone laying and non laying queens as long as evidence in the form of a photo is provided, we may also ask for the queen to be returned.


Queen bees order before 9:00 am will qualify for same day dispatch Monday – Friday. Queens will be dispatched via Royal Mail. We highly recommend paying for Guaranteed Next Day delivery, as it is a tracked service. Queen bees ordered with standard delivery (Royal Mail first class signed for) may take longer to be delivered as it is not a tracked service. We hold no responsibility for delayed delivery if this service is used.

Orders that are delayed because of Royal Mail will be dispatched again or refunded if they have not been delivered after seven days.

Live queen bees can not be returned.
